That is the question. Sitting here having had my first rich tea biscuit in many years and finger weary from typing possible festival and venues to send to Mark our booker,in the hope he’ll hook them for us. Life isn’t bad.Me n Jonny both have a nice new pair of shoes each, and our last gig was incandescent with tears , snorts of joy and ibuprofen fuelled dancing. Black Friday tomorrow means a visit to Todmorden for ale and fried goods. Next week (Tapeworm Friday) sees me n Jonny at York Library where I ‘ll be showing twenty six paper bag drawings and talking about my thirty year career as a portrait artist. There’ll be stories and we may serenade the audience very briefly. This is the season for gigs , starting with The Wee Red Bar in Edinburgh on Saturday November 7th and racing towards two gigs at the Brudenell ,Christmas week.
